Since September 1993 my vehicle of expression has been landscape. My source material comes from working visits in England and abroad; from sketches, oil on board, inks & pastels, which enable me to be involved through an immediate and direct response to nature; I make a translation from these to large scale works in the studio on canvas and paper. Through a process of layering I aim towards a personal vision of nature and the feelings evoked. Using the medium of monoprint I take creative risks to construct a new dynamic emphasis for my passion in landscape and life.
